How do I pick my keywords?
Choosing the correct keywords is a difficult task. We suggest three methods.One is using a piece of software called Good Keywords . In our opinion it is an essential tool, download it and try it. The second is to see what the competition is using. Search for other sites offering the same content or product as yours. Note the reoccurring words in the HTML title, text of there main page and throughout the site. You can also right click on a competitor's page and view the code of there document.Use this to check there keyword meta tags and other meta tags. What Search Engines and Directories do you submit to?
At last count we submit to about 190 search engines. What is important is that we submit to all the major directories and search engines directly or indirectly. They include: Google Group, Lycos, All The Web, DMOZ, HotBot, AOL, MSN, Yahoo, Alexa, Direct Hit, Netscape and many more. How can I tell that my website is actually being submitted?
You will receive emails most of time your website is submitted to the search engines. The large search engines do not email you so you will NOT receive any email from these. Yahoo, MSN, Google, AOL are all included in this group. Your site IS being submitted to them, they just don't sent you email verification. However you can use our free link popularity tool which will tell when and where you are listed. This tool will show you if Yahoo, MSN, Google, and AOL have listed your domain.
